Jade Signature Launches $13M Double-Decker 'Sky Villas'

Jade Signature, the very high-end building designed by Herzog & de Meuron that brought starchitecture to the design wasteland that is Sunny Isles Beach, has released its 'sky villas'; six duplex units that will be located just below the two penthouses. (upper and lower) Beginning at $13 million, the 6,300 to 6,700 interior square foot sky villas will take up four floors total, in two sets of three. Each has five bedrooms, and seven and a half baths, which is a lot.

On to the plans >>
The sky villas will have private elevator vestibules on both levels, which is probably a big convenience although one imagines their party guests getting off on the wrong floor and wandering through the bedroom. Living rooms are double height. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets are all top of the line, with custom bath cabinetry custom designed by Pierre Yves Rochon, the French designer whose firm is doing the interiors of the whole building. All six will have large exterior balcony spaces, with the middle units having the biggest, while of course the end units have more views. The middle units have the biggest master suites too. Units with floor-through views are on Jade Signature's big 'things', so the daytime living areas have minimals cross walls to get in the way of that.
