La Gorce Island, that little plop of land at the northern tip of the La Gorce neighborhood with the really big houses has been home to the likes of Billy Joel. A grander house on an even bigger lot than Joel's old place and just down the road from it, 92 La Gorce Circle, is on the market for $18.75 million. With a whopping 200 feet of waterfront, the almost ten thousand square foot house comes a whopping 42,000 plus square foot lot—a full acre—and includes eight bedrooms, a double living room, wood floors, marble fireplaces, separate guest suites and servants quarters.
