Riva Fort Lauderdale’s most valuable unit is its River Loft penthouse, a 12,000-square-foot residence that remains on the market for $5.25 million since listing last summer.
The two-story penthouse living on the development’s second and third floors sits 25 feet above the Middle River with 250 feet of riverfront. Highlighting the residence is its 83-foot long terrace overlooking the water, outdoor dining room and summer kitchen, private pool terrace, and 16-foot high glass walls draping the main living area.
Unlike most penthouses, which sit on a building’s top floor, I happen to think being closer to the water can be just as luxurious, so long as it’s quiet and not neighboring any busy streets (this one isn’t).
Riva will offer a water taxis available to its residences and a private dock and watersports center. The 100-unit development is 65 percent sold and construction is expected to conclude next summer.
