Like colleagues Zaha Hadid, Richard Meier, and lots of other out-of-town architects and designers, Karim Rashid has the good sense to own a Miami Beach apartment, and shared photos of it with Curbed Miami. With an aesthetic that's surprisingly restrained for Karim Rashid, and restrained for Miami, the loft is mostly white, peppered with pops of color and interesting shapes. There aren't any purple walls, like at his New York apartment, but there are patterned kitchen countertops and a pink TV. It also has a green daybed, and black and white patterned floors. The Rashid is currently working on his second Miami building in a partnership with the Related Group, Paraiso Bayviews, which broke groundearlier this week, so having a place down here probably makes sense.
