The Majestic Corinthian Pillars of this Coconut Grove House Once Graced the Royal Palm Hotel

Listed for $2.475 million, this gorgeously restored Coconut Grove house was built in 1916, but its grand "outdoor living room" porch might not have been added until at least the 1930s when Henry Flagler's palatial Royal Palm Hotel was deemed a fire hazard and demolished and the many architectural trimmings of the hotel became available. According to the brokerbabble, the porch is enclosed by the house's most extraordinary feature: thirteen original columns from the Royal Palm, and some serious historical Miami bragging rights. Oh, and the house is full of Dade County Pine too.
