Another glassy, luxury waterfont condo broke ground in Miami with Bijou Bay Harbor beginning its rise at 9521 East Bay Harbor Drive in Bay Harbor Islands.
The 41-unit development is down the street from the Bal Harbour Shops, which recently received final approval on a $400 million renovation.
Developed by Ability by Acierto and Conexo Inmobiliario, the project is about 70 percent sold and was expected to initially break ground in 2016. Residences range in size from 900 to just over 2,000 square feet, with prices starting at $600,000.
“We are truly excited to move forward into the next stage of development,” said Robert Morales, vice president of operations for Ability by Acierto. “Bijou Bay Harbor has and will continue to be an integral part of the island community and its growth. We can’t wait for residents to move in and experience the waterfront oasis for themselves.”
Bijou Bay Harbor is designed by architects Luis Revuelta and Charles H. Benson. Amenities include a poolside lounge and bar; rooftop lounge; bay access for water sports; and a fitness center.
