A South Florida beachfront mansion at 1115 Hillsboro Mile just sold for $20 million.
It appears to have set a record in Hillsboro Beach and is the second most expensive single-family home sale in Broward County, behind the $27.5 million sale in Harborage Isle from 2015. Selling for $1,857 per square foot, it’s the biggest sale in the county on a cost-per-square-foot basis in at least the last three years, according to Redfin data.
Listed for $21.65 million, the contemporary 10,769-square-foot home was built in 2017 on a property that previously sold for just over $6 million in 2015. It stretches from the intracoastal to the Atlantic, with the six-bedroom residence designed by Affiniti Architects with furnishings by Marc-Michaels Interior Design.
Highlights include a garden courtyard with an ipe bridge crossing a reflecting pond, free-flowing glassy interiors, a sculpture garden, live-edge-walnut bar, a shell-stone terrace enclosing the resort-style pool, yacht dockage on the intracoastal, and over 100 feet of ocean frontage.
