Poised to become Fort Lauderdale’s tallest building when it tops off at 499 feet, 100 Las Olas is set to break ground next Thursday at 100 East Las Olas Boulevard.
The 45-story mixed-use development will overtake Las Olas River House (452 feet) as the tallest in the city and entails a 238-room hotel, 121 luxury condo residences, and an indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar. Amenities include an observation deck, expansive fitness center, resort-style private pool with cabanas, a news room, and a social clubroom dubbed CLUB 100.
The Kolter Group development announced in January its hotel portion would live under the Hyatt Centric brand, the first of its kind in Broward County and the third in the state of Florida.
Sales launched in January with its sales gallery opening at 200 East Las Olas Boulevard, totaling around $15 million to date. Condo residences start at $800,000 and range in size from 1,501 to 2,964 square feet.
The project is expected to open in 2020.
