Brickell Flatiron is preparing for its foundation pour this weekend, utilizing about 150 trucks and 700 construction workers to pour about 50 million pounds of cement beginning Friday evening.
The luxury condo development is 60 percent sold.
The pour will be led by Moss & Associates and will last about 24 hours for the 64-story tower that’s being developed by Ugo Colombo’s CMC Group. Located at 1001 South Miami Avenue, the tower will eventually rise to 736 feet above street level and become one of the tallest buildings in the city.
There will be 549 units, ranging in price from $465,000 to $2.5 million, with penthouses maxed out at $15.5 million.
“Once complete, Brickell Flatiron will be a retreat in the center of one of the most desirable parts of Miami,” Colombo said. “We’re not offering gimmicks; we are offering a high-quality product, timeless design, and an unmatched location. Our buyers will benefit from the prestige of living in Brickell – a brand synonymous with an upscale, urban lifestyle – which is known on an international level and is sure to maintain its reputation and value.”
One of the highlights of the development will be its 64th-floor rooftop which will house its spa, pool, and gym.
