Singer and songwriter Jason Derulo just put his mansion in Coconut Creek back on the market for $2.25 million, about a year after initially listing it for $2.9 million.
The home housing the man behind hits "Wiggle" and "Whatcha Say" has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a waterfall by the pool, and a fitness center, sitting on 2.5 acres adjacent to Adios Golf Club.
Derulo has retained celebrity brokers Adi Amuial and Alexander Goldstein, of Miles Goldstein Real Estate, who most recently co-brokered the sale of Sammy Sosa’s oceanfront mansion for $9,150,000 (with Stuart Drossner of Drossner Realty), as well as the sale of the late Maurice Gibb for the Estate of the Bee Gees, located in Golden Beach.
"This home is absolutely spectacular," Amuial said. "It’s truly massive, and Mr. Derulo spared no expense when it came to creative detail. Additionally, the estate is located directly across from a prestigious golf course and is part of a natural preserve area, offering a seldom found luxury coveted by Florida residents."
"It has been my experience that celebrities tend to pay special attention to the upkeep of their private residences," Goldstein added. "This translates well to the upscale buyer and is one of the main reasons that these properties tend to move quickly when marketed properly."
Derulo bought the property for $1.75 million in 2012, looking to wiggle outa there with a $500,000 profit (sans renovation costs).
