Coming in at No. 4 on the list of the most expensive single-family homes in Miami-Dade County (check out our map!) is this waterfront Mediterranean mansion in Coral Gables measuring up at just under 13,000 square feet with an asking price of $45 million ($3,480 per square foot).
Located within the gated Gables Estates community at 8901 Arvida Lane, it has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, three half-baths, and sits on a whopping 2.38 acres of manicured grounds consumed by exotic landscaping from all over the world.
Standout features include 25-foot ceilings; marble flooring throughout; a movie theater; chef’s kitchen; terraces overlooking the pool; and a guest villa with its own dining room, living room, and kitchen.
The two-story estate was designed by Rafael Portuondo. It features 245 feet of water frontage and a dock that can accommodate a 90-foot yacht.
The property last sold for $6.4 million in 2003, with the current home completed in 2007.
