Tropical modern Miami Beach mansion sells for $22M

212 West Dilido Drive, Miami Beach
 via Douglas Elliman
Recently selling for $22 million, “Casa Clara” became the largest sale in Miami Beach over the last year and a record for the Venetian Islands, reports The Real Deal.
It also was purchased at a massive discount, exchanging hands for 39 percent off its original ask of $35.9 million back when it listed in December 2015.
The tropical-modern home at 212 West Dilido Drive has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms with 11,500 square feet of living space. Fully outfitted by the Solesdi Showroom, it features pocketing walls of sliding glass doors, a home theater, and both an outdoor kitchen and private beach overlooking Biscayne Bay.
The residence was designed by Ralph Choeff, Principal at Choeff Levy Fischman Architecture + Design (CLF). Nelson Gonzalez of EWM represented the buyer while Douglas Elliman’s Eloy Carmenate was the listing agent.
