The highest penthouse at Ritz-Carlton Residences, Sunny Isles Beach has been acquired for $16.5 million, with the unit encompassing the entire 52nd floor becoming the third of five penthouses to go under contract.
The two units below on the 51st floor sold for a combined $21 million to one buyer.
The top-floor unit in the tower developed by Fortune International Group and Château Group is 6,320 square feet, with four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 15-foot ceilings, and a 2,095-square-foot terrace with a summer kitchen, private garden, infinity pool, and sensational views of the Intracoastal and Atlantic Ocean.
Designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Michele Bönan, the 212-unit tower is currently 65 percent sold since sales launched last year, with construction set to begin in June and completion scheduled for 2018.
Amenities include a beachfront restaurant, Kids Club, concierge, personal chef services, fuel-delivery services for residents' cars (!), and a private club on the 33rd floor.
