waterfront home in Miami Beach with ties to Elizabeth Taylor has returned to the market asking $19.9 million.
The Sunset Islands gem used to belong to the family of William Pawley, Jr., Taylor’s first fiancé. According to Daily Mail, it was Taylor’s Hollywood dreams that ultimately halted the two from tying the knot.
Located at 2555 Lake Avenue, the renovated property is nearly 9,200 square feet and is equipped with large windows and doors, showcasing beautiful views of the bay and lush grounds. It has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, 150 feet of water frontage, a heated saltwater pool with an adjacent summer kitchen, guest apartment, and private dock.
“This magical estate, once frequented by one of the most legendary actresses of our time, today brings modern luxury to a peaceful setting,” said Jill Hertzberg of The Jills. “It is one of the most sought-after, coveted addresses in the Sunset Islands.”
“An elegant tropical haven, this completely renovated estate is ideal for the luxury buyer seeking out a tranquil yet luxurious home,” added Jill Eber.
The property last sold in 2013 for $15.45 million.
