A four-bedroom residence at Faena House in Miami Beach just rented for $70,000 a month, which appears to be the highest condo rental of 2016 in Miami-Dade County.
The unit is on a seven-month lease and includes 4,730 square feet of living space, 6.5 bathrooms, and direct ocean views.
"Faena House was recently completed and the initial rentals were really testing the market to see what price it would bare," said Tony Rodriguez-Tellaheche, broker and co-founder of Prestige Realty Group. "This rental, which sits on the 10th floor, is a testament to how strong the market still is. We continue to not only break records in real estate, but also receive interest from London buyers —and renters— despite the Brexit."
Kayce Driscoll of Douglas Elliman was the listing agent and PRG’s Ashlea Gershfield-Evans represented the renters, a family based in London.
In related news, the Ken Griffin's Faena House penthouse broke off into two separate listings, asking a combined $73 million.
