Fresh off receiving its $200-million construction loan, Privé Island in Aventura appears poised to become one of South Florida's hottest commodities during a time when many have been expecting a lull in the increasingly oversaturated luxury condo market.
Our friends at Miami Luxury Homes recently went on a chopper tour of the exciting development, which they report is 60-percent sold, with 64 of 158 units remaining and a quarter of those buyers coming from South Florida.
MLH also reports eight of the 16 two-story penthouses have been sold, with each residence including large terraces with private pools and outdoor kitchens.
The highest priced remaining unit is a 6,200-square-foot penthouse with six bedrooms and a massive 4,622-square-foot terrace, listed at $8.25 million.
Nine of 16 stories have been completed and the development is expected to open in the summer of 2017.
