Hotel Indigo Miami Brickell, a concept by InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), is coming along smoothly. Developer West Brickell Hotel LLC has closed on$34.5 million financing. Groundbreaking should happen this month.
A joint venture between Sunview Companies and HES Group, the hotel should open in 2017. In addition to the estimated 140-key hotel (a seemingly ever shifting number) as reported by The Real Deal, the 24-story project will also include an additional 90-room luxury extended stay under the Sojourn brand. The $56 million project will include 2,000 s.f. of meeting space, gym, and outdoor pool with a bar.
It joins the Miami Lakes location as the second location for the brand.
